DAY 1: HONG KONG - MACAU
Transfer from your Hong Kong hotel to the pier for a 1-hour ferry trip to the Macau, Monte Carlo of the Far East. Visit the 400-year-old A Ma Temple and Penha Church, a graceful chapel built on a hilltop. Stop at Porta do Cerco, the official land crossing point into China, for a glimpse of the Chinese Border Guards before proceeding for lunch at a local restaurant. Then move on to the ruins of St. Pauls, a grand imposing facade of an early 16th century church. Walk down the picturesque cobblestone streets to the main square city center of Senado. Try your luck at the gambling tables of the world famous casino in Macau before transferring to your hotel. Overnight: Macau, Holiday Inn Macau (First Class) or Mandarin Oriental Macau (Deluxe) for 1 night. (L)
DAY 2: MACAU - HONG KONG
Today is at leisure to continue exploring Macau. Perhaps visit the churches or museums, stroll through the many parks and gardens, or while away the hours in the casino. This afternoon, return to Hong Kong by ferry and transfer to your hotel. (B)
