The Discovery Centre offers a variety of excursions to discover the country.

The program of the excursions and the prices are given for information only. Prices can change during the season according to the current rate of the country. Excursions have to be paid on the premises with local currency.

The Club Med has drawn up a Responsible Tourismcharter for all the destinations it serves, to guarantee responsible practice towards the environment, both natural and cultural, and ethical participation towards local economic development.

* Caribean Cruise (1/2D)
Discover the Caribbean coast on a superb yacht. Sail to Fort de France, via the Diamond Rock and the Three Islands. 45 minute stopover at Fort de France, swimming at Grande Anse on the way back. Aperitif on board.

* Fort-de-France (1/2 day)
Free time in the capital to take a stroll or do some shopping. For your information -Transport: bus

* Hardy and Cap Chevalier Isles(1 D.)
Leave the Club Med jetty, sail and discover the Atlantic Coast, stop-off for a swim at Hardy Isle and the Salines beach. For your information -Means of transport: catamaran

* North Botanical (1 day)
Discovery of Martinique and the island's history and culture by way of a guided tour. Visit the famous Balata gardens, a lobster lunch at the Habitation DEPAZ, at the foot of Pelée mountain. For your information -Transport: bus

* North Tropical (1 day)
Discover the deeper side to Martinique with a guided tour along country paths, banana fields and sugar cane plantations. Cross a number of fords, refreshments served by the locals, lunch on typical local fare in a restaurant up north. Visit the rum museum of St James.

* Sainte Lucia by catamaran (1 day)
A cruise to Ste. Lucia. Stop at Marigot Bay for an opportunity to bathe in the sea. Lunch in a typical island restaurant. Visit to the capital Castries and its local market.

* St Pierre (1/2 D.)
We'll drive in the direction of the Balata Gardens, through the tropical forest. Visit the centre of St Pierre, on the Caribbean coast, and the musuem devoted to the 1902 eruption. Return by the coast road. For your information: -Tranport: bus

* Yole for beginners (2 hours)
Initiation and excursion in a skiff with training from a Martinique grand master, then tasting of punches and local cakes. Leave from Club Med beach.
